I'm heading out for a short week of internetless holidays (good thing, if you ask me!) in a couple of hours, so before I go and remain unavailable, here's the theme for August—chosen totally at random, I admit:

You can interpret it as you wish, and you can submit either a new or an already existing deviation. You have until August 31st to submit your piece in this gallery, after which we'll organize a vote to see which of these works shall go into the Featured folder.
(Also, I'm moving around the 27th, so if come September 1st, there are no news about this, it means I unfortunately haven't had my new connection activated yet, and will have to get back to you all later on. Just a FYI.)

Sorry for the delay, the beginning of this month was quite hectic for me...
Submissions for the October theme are now closed. Let's vote to see which one of the submitted pictures gets into the Featured folder. :)

Sorry for the lack of updates here, life's been throwing me lemons, and I've been quite busy making lemonade. :p However, I sure do hope that now that I'm back into a somewhat normal way of living (having basic conveniences such as hot water and electricity helps), I'll be able to do some more things here.
Monthly themes first. August's theme wasn't met with much success, so let's drop it and jump to October's theme. I'm going to be oh so original, and I hereby declare that the theme will be:
